Old Floydians Community site launches

Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in Aylesbury is inviting its past students and teachers to join a new member site as part of its plan to engage "Old Floydians" in today's school community, and with each other. 

Many Sir Henry Floyd scholars go on achieve great personal and professional success, and Headteacher Jeanette Cochrane is hoping they will be keen to share their experiences to inspire and motivate current students:

"Our students face a more challenging transition from school to university or a place of work than ever.  We hope that Old Floydians can share invaluable advice, motivate, and inspire the current generation of Floydian Scholars."

Events, Networking and Job Board

As well as to encouraging alumni to engage with the school, the online community will also provide a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow Old Floydians.  The site features a members-only directory to find and contact fellow graduates, a calendar of events, opportunities for work shadowing and skill sharing, and a jobs board.
