Summer Concert Triumph (despite the weather!)
The Performing Arts Department of SHFGS kicked off our week of summer festival activities with a truly memorable outdoor concert.
After a LONG time when we have been unable to gather together as a school community we have finally been able to hold a live event at SHFGS!
On the evening of 6th July, our Performing Arts department blew us away with a Summer Concert to rival any professional event.
A restricted number of parents were welcomed to socially distanced outdoor seating to enjoy the very best in dance, drama and music that our immensely talented children have to offer.
Despite the British summer weather doing its very best to dampen spirits, the standard of the performances and celebratory atmosphere of the evening shone through.
"The organisation of the event was phenomenal and had clearly been extremely well planned and executed. And of course, the content was fantastic - such a wide range of genres, ages, disciplines and, most importantly, everyone involved clearly enjoying themselves and thriving in a live performance environment - a real joy to witness"

The stage remains in situ for a little longer as we welcome guest speakers, hold our Celebration of Achievement and enjoy our festival of sport over the coming weeks.
