Inspirational Alumni: David Chalmers - Reciprocity

David left Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in 1980, heading off for a GAP year in what was then West Berlin before studying at Edinburgh University.

With a career that spans the civil service, working for The Economist, producing the Shanghai Pride LGBT Film Festival, cofounding the Kaleidoscope Trust charity, Liberal Democrats Parliamentary Spokesperson for Torridge and West Devon, and Mayor of Northam Town Council amongst other achievements, David's passion for making the most of life's experiences, and for giving back to his community, is an inspiration to us all.
